TOWN OF HALIFAX, VERMONT
Zoning Regulation Review
The Planning Commission continues to encourage residents and
property owners to submit their zoning suggestions and concerns.
Please write, call, or come to the next meeting (April 11, 2017).
Halifax Zoning Regulations were approved March 1, 2016, by only a 22-vote margin. A petition to repeal zoning was defeated August 9, 2016, again by 22 votes. The Halifax Planning Commission believes a fair percentage of voters is not fully satisfied with the current regulations. We need to create a list of concerns. Please come forward with your proposed changes to the zoning regulations. Any form of communication is welcome—a letter, an email, a phone call, a conversation, or come to a meeting.
